The MANDALA series mimics the complex dichotomy found in flora. They are extrapolated from my macroflora images and are evolutionary - ' a gradual process in which something changes into a different and usually more complex or better form.'
The word 'Mandala' is from the classical Indian language of Sanskrit. Loosely translated to mean "circle" a Mandala is far more than a simple shape. It represents wholeness and is seen as a model for the organizational structure of life itself.
